Default curious noise

Have recently noticed a faint buzzing vibration when turning the ignition key to the first position (accessory). It seems to come from the dashboard near the clock. (It is not the sound of the fuel pump pressurizing the system which occurs in the "run" position.) It only seems to happen if the car has not been run for a while. Any ideas? Thanks. 08 PT base.

Thanks Don... No disc in there but the noise is coming from the radio/CD. Don't know why but just glad it isn't something else.

You can either one ignore it, two crank up the music, or three pay someone to track down that pesky sound. I would choose one or two
