Red face Headlamp Bulb Fitment

I'm having a little trouble getting all the info I need from any parts sites, or the Sylvania web site for the Silver Star Ultra headlamp bulbs for the 2005 Dream Cruiser ....high versus low beams.

Do the high and low beams use the same bulb....9006 SU?? Or, are the high and low lamps different?

I believe just about all PT's use a 9006 for the low beam and 9005 for the high beam.

Owners manual says 9006XS for Low and 9005XS for High.

Thanks Cruisers!
But, when I selected the 9005s on two web sites, both sites indicated..."DOES NOT FIT you PT Cruiser"!

9005s???....It probably said that because that bulb is a 'Right Angle Prefocus, HB3 (P20d)'.
The 'XS' bulbs like 9005XS & 9006XS are both 'Axial Prefocus, HB3A & HB4A (P20d & P22d)' respectively.
Try using the fitment guide on the Eiko website, and you'll see what you did wrong:

Thumbs up Re: Headlamp Bulb Fitment

Thanks Randy.
It worked better because it was a light bulb web site, that searches for your vehicle.
Rather than a general automotive site that just searches for any bulbs, and expects you to know the application.

The Eiko's are slightly less expensive; and do put out about 20% more light than even the Sylvania Silver Star Ultras.
I have used Silver Stars before with satisfaction and longevity.
Maybe I'll try the Eikos this time.
**Then I will be "experienced" and can literally post..."time after time I have".....

You'll notice the Eiko's have a Good,Better,Best bulb info.....Meaning: GOOD=Straight XS Base(Equal to OEM stock bulb),BETTER=PowerVision Pro(50% Brighter/10% Whiter),and BEST=ClearVision Supreme(80% Brighter/50% Whiter).
