Question Re: What is the Rear half of the H-Frame?

I suppose the 'inspector' refers to the rear axle & trailing arms as a ' Rear H-Frame',because it kinda looks like the letter H(or at least half on one!lol)

There are none serviceable bushing in the rear assembly. Also 2step mention that some PT owners observed none symmetrical alignment when lowering. This usually means a bent rear assembly.

I think they are talking about the k frame. The rear part looks like an H.

^^^^^^

This has become more frequently reported. Have no idea why they made rear section out of such thin tin.

Mine was about gone, and AFAIK is still driving around.

Post Re: What is the Rear half of the H-Frame?

I did a little digging, and found out some tech.s/mech.s have refered to the 'Sub-Frame'(the crossmember under the engine)as an 'H-Frame',because it normally is attached at 4 points under the body.....So,look under the front of the car, just under the engine/firewall area.
