Default Went a little overboard with mods

I added the following to my 2005 Touring in the last few months,

Bought a courtesy light the same as the right rear and installed it on the left rear, replaced the 912 bulbs with blue led's.

Modified my dome light to hold 3 16 led bulbs (blue).

Added a 16 led courtesy light above the cup holders (also blue).

Installed 8 blue led light to the center console, front and rear panels.

I put led turn signal arrows behind both side view mirrors.

Installed ghost light welcome logo's to the front doors.

Changed the tail lights to IPCW Led's

Put led bulbs in the front turn/side lens, backup lights, and fog lights.

Converted the low beams to HID 6000k.

Put led bulbs in the turn signal indicators, heater panel, transmission shifter.

Installed a Rydeen mirror with a compass, interior and exterior temperature displays, and a back-up monitor. To install the camera I had to add 2 led plate lights to each side of the license plate so I could center the camera.

I found a small media player on Ebay and used it to turn the 2nd input on the mirror into a digital picture frame.

Put a rubber step mat on the rear bumper, and added the rubber mat type inserts to the console.

I think I am done for now.

Don't really think you went overboard on your mods especially since most of your mods are lighting. Besides, to each his own. Don't stop there.

Question Re: Went a little overboard with mods

Hi Abbey Road,

I also purchased the ghost projector lights for the front doors. I haven't had time to install them yet. What was the best power source to tap?

thanks Dan

"Overboard with Mods"!!!????
NOT!

That's just a good start.
How's about some real exterior and interior mods!
And, don't feel one bit guilty about copying someone else's good ideas!

(Just be sure to give them credit!)

I just taped into the courtesy lights for the ghost logo. The hardest part is running the wires through the doors. I followed the factory wires for the windows, door locks, and mirrors. At the same time I ran an extra set of wires for the turn signal led arrows.
