Question Parts from 02 Limited to 02 Touring

I'm going to a salvage yard next week and was wondering which parts my 02 TE doesn't have that an 02 LE or 01 base would have that I could pick up.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the rear hatch shelf or the vanity cover? You can check to see if the donor car has them (if you don't). Limited might have 4-wheel disc brakes but kinda hard to just rip them off. Limited should have the power sun roof also.

Second horn
Depending upon your car's options, these ideas:
flood console light, driver lumbar support seat, driver power-adjust seat, heated seats, speed control, leather wrapped steering wheel
Does your car have a plastic trim piece at the top of the opened glove-box space?

If you find a same as your color car, the joint (molding) between the roof and C pillars (aft side windows) is painted the body color of the vehicle in 2001 (black after that for all years and models).

The windshield and rear window shading details changed from 2001 to 2002, but I doubt that you are trying to recreate a 2001.
"Shading across the top of the windshield - looks like an actual tint that starts at the top and continues down to the rear-view mirror area."
"Black mask with clear window cutout area in front of the 3rd brake light."

Here is a link to changes year to year.

I've yet to see one of these doors on the rear cubby. My 2001 Limited doesn't have one and I haven't found one on any salvage car yet.

Anybody know where there's a photo of one of these?

Busted_PT: I was thinking that! Would I have any trouble swapping the head units out?

CREWZIN: I do have the shelf and the sunroof, was just hoping to get leather seats and some other small pieces

sanatanadharma: I didn't think about the two horns, but I did think about the cubby cover. I am hoping for a decent steering wheel. I've never heard (or seen) about the flood console lights. I'm not very clear on the glove box trim piece either.

How difficult would it be to take the black rubber door sills off of a 2001?

Not hard to take off. I added the second rear door seal to one of the rear doors on my 01, since it had a later model door installed from previous owners. The sill got much dirtier without it.

A push pin on either end, and small "T" pins, in between.

I still used push pins on the ends for install, but used 3M double sided tape for the rest. I did not want to drill that many holes.

The rear plug is different on the 01 headunit. I'm not sure when they changed to the newer design. I think 03 but that list that sanatanadharma put up seem to say 02. They have adapters if I remember correctly.
