Default What is this bolt

Found this bolt on the driveway this morning where my wife usually parks. Anyone recognize it and can help speed my quest to return it to its home?
Thanks in advance, this place never lets me down.

My guess

Possibly a rear seat, seat belt anchor.

Cool Re: What is this bolt

Plastic or metal bolt?
If plastic....probably a body trim fastener.

Suspect it might be holding wheel well guards or some other trim on - bolts that start with an unthreaded part are usually not for major mechanical bits...

It's got rust in the driver area. So I am going to say metal. Although rust stains con color plastic as well.

My guess is the tire thread picked it up on the road somewhere and it wound up in the driveway. But toss it in the coffee can with the rest of the odd nuts and bolts in case you find the matching hole someday.

It is metal. 2009 base model PT.

We had the rear seat out the other day, so it could be bolt perhaps from inside the seat that shook out when the seat was removed or reinstalled. I tugged on all the seatbelts and they seemed attached. I may have to disassemble the seat.

It certainly wasn't picked up by a tire, unless a monster truck had driven over my driveway recently.

Check your rear lights. Looks like the bolt that holds the tail light in.
