Default bad signal bulb?

I got that fast blink on my way home the other day.
When I got home I noticed that the rear signal wasn't blinking.
Then today I didn't use it until just now and it's working!
I noticed that the housing has condensation in it.
Any ideas what's going on?

on my car, the problem you describe was the bulb socket. figured that out AFTER buying the bulbs. grumble. you can bend the contact to fit tighter, but BE CAREFUL. they break REEEAAALLLY easily.

Often, when a filament breaks, it can touch and work for a while, but it'll vibrate loose again - start with a new bulb, and inspect the socket carefully...

I'd rather it be the socket than something worse. I was afraid I'd hear "multi function switch"!
The condensation irritates me, but I've been wanting new tail lights anyhow.

I had bought this second hand bike. Nothing other than the headlights were working. I had to pay a lot to have it all fixed up for good.
