You might get the largest capacity battery for you model and a battery blanket.
This may be a little easier then a complete custom upgrade of different size batteries? |

The original battery group for our PTs is 26R. I highly recommend the AGM type of battery that you are asking about. My personal choice is the BRAILLE line of AGM batteries. I have had mine in for over six years now and it is still going strong. It is SMALLER in size than our stock battery, yet it is MORE POWERFUL. My BRAILLE has been mounted normally, on its side and in its latest configuration, on its end. ![]() You, of course, can get wild and do most anything that your imagination and abilities will allow. ![]() Check out Braille Battery USA      Lighter • Stronger • Faster MY PT WITH BLUE THEME [IMG] ![]() MY PT WITH BLUE THEME [IMG] ![]() MY PT WITH BLUE THEME [IMG] ![]() MY PT WITH BLUE THEME [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() Also remember to use the correct attachment points when jump starting our PTs. Interstate is all I buy!
Even my Chrysler dealer now uses batteries made by Interstate.

dealership I sold over 700 in one year. Love the perks you got, chairs, concert tickets. radios. tvs, coolers.coat, tee shirts, coffee travel mugs etc. I have a whole collection of Interstate freebees from just being the manager of the parts department and sending them out to the service department replacing a standard set of 6-8 batteries per RV. Toby; I believe a 58R size will fit in the battery box without any mods. If it is a 2006 or later.
WWPP; Sweeeeet! |

The thing I liked about the 78R was that it had top AND side mounts; top used by the vehicle itself and the side terminals I attached a brass extension for ancillary wiring of junk |

One more ditty and I'd say this is all dead
I took out the original toaster pastry box sized battery and compare it to something I'd run in a HONDA lawn mower I am taking out the original tray and having a custom made aluminum anodized plate made with a foam base to stop power drain. Then after I see what I have left dimensionally after installing some custom battery holder...(no holder-inspection failure in PA) I will install the largest size and largest CCA capacity AGM I can get my grubby mitts on. Thanks for all the pix and comments as always... kctobyjoe (origin: kc (Kansas City Chiefs fan; toby...worked at Army Base located in Tobyhanna PA and my name happens to be Joe ;-0 ) |
