Default what would you do to the cruiser if you had the cash?

Simple question here, and let your dreams/fantasies go wild possibly, but what would you do to your Pt cruiser if money wasn't/isn't an issue?

I would, hands down, convert it to a rally car. First I would put a 5-speed manual transmission into it and convert it to AWD with front/rear power divided at 40/60. I would then lift it up just an inch (for ground clearance) and if possible widen the stance of the wheels outward to make it more stable. I would put a spring suspension in the front and the back would be just enough bounce so jumps won't kill it. Of course a roll cage will be added inside it. Also, to top it off, I would weld a bull bar to the front of the cruiser, with rally lights across it. I would also add some rally lights to the top of the car (like the jeep liberty). The wheels would be something for off-roading, and I'm not sure what kind of engine I would want in it. Lastly, I would remove the "cruiser" badge on the trunk and replace it with something that said "Rally" on it. It may not be the prettiest cruiser out there, but the idea is to have fun with it, right? I mean, a car is meant to be driven

So, does anyone else have any dreams/fantasies of what they would love to do to their cruiser? Or if they already have? Anything is acceptable

mine would be somehow sitting on a 4x4 lifted and painted like grave digger id want a better tranny and have the same Desiel engin that chrysler put in some of the libertys
I dont want it stting a mile high but a nice 4 inch lift with some meaty tires would be good and yes Id like the roof mounted lights like the liberty leather heated seats and just maybe weld the back doors solid and make it like a old school pannel van--Or like Grave Digger
Im sure with enough money it could easily be done like The Duck Comander Willy says With enough moeny a redneck can do almost anything.

Just a really good paint job with the original red and high-gloss black bumpers and wing. I will likely do that this summer either myself or from a local guy. I might add some 18 inch wheels too if I could find some I like.

If I was going to spend more than that, I would start out with a different PT. It would likely be a low-mileage Dream Cruiser or other special edition of some type. Then would come the HEMI.

If money was not an issue then it would not be a "The Never Ending PT Project".
And then what fun is that?

Besides I am already doing anything I want to my PT.

Yep,

If there was big money to spend and/or important contests to complete in, this would get more serious and begin to seem more like work than about having fun.

It's pretty rewarding to learn about some little mod here on this forum and then find the part somewhere at a bargain and then install it on a little inexpensive car I paid for out of my pocket. Doing just a little and not spending too much at one time makes it all more enjoyable.

Thanks. But I like both my cars and my women naturally aspirated. I tried a supercharged woman one time and all I got was a burnt piston.

Red face Re: what would you do to the cruiser if you had the cash?

I's have someone professional do all the "fixer-uppers" to get my 2005 Dream Cruiser convertible back to "mint"!
(My arthritic hands are taking a beating!)
