Default Transmission leak & have to keep putting fluid in

Not sure where to start looking for where the leak is as I owned a Mercedes and have not worked on a PT Cruiser 2002. Guess there is a first time for everything. I want to help my landlord out by maybe fixing the problem. I have read on these cars and am just in shock at no space to work. Where would you start at looking for the leak? Thanks so much Mary

Axle seals, pan, lines, and also tcm (trans control module)

Mary; assuming it is an automatic transmission car, and the leak is from the front of the trans, the clamps on the hoses at the front of the trans might need tightening. Trans pan gasket bolts might need tightening. The 3 vertical bolts on the solenoid pack [I think this is what Busted called the TCM] might need tightening.

Like Busted said, check the axle seals. Another likely candidate. Putting it up on ramps and checking with a light will tell you more. Wiping with a rag and running the car should help you find it.
