Default Random newb questions about 2007 Touring

Things I haven't found answers to yet, that I wonder about... LOL.

1) I'd love to add the power seat lift... what are the parts called and where might I find them online?

2) Can I add it without replacing the seats themselves? (Keeping the stock cloth ones would probably be cheaper)

3) The upper right power window switch has a green lighted dot.... but no lights on any of the others? Is it supposed to have only one dot?

4) Under seat drawers... will the ones for the 01-05 fit in the 07 the same way if I just buy some from Ebay? I like the idea of the storage.

5) The factory switches like for defrost etc, most of mine look blank. If I buy a "replacement" switch and maybe different filler panel I should be able to use it for something else right? (Such as remote start disable?)

I'm sure I'll come up with more... LOL.

1) go to a junkyard - you should have the wiring for it - you'll have to add a fuse...- beware, it doesn't go down as far a manual seat (so I'm told) so, if you're tall, your hair may hit headliner - worse with sunroof.
2) It'd be easier to swap seats. There were power cloth seats (I have them).
3) the 2 top switches should have the green light - your left one burned out.
4) I believe they are the same for all years
5) I drilled a blank spot and added a switch - you don't need a whole new panel.

Good answers from QSD except the power window switch lights.

When the PT first came out there were only 2 window switches (May 2000 - July 2000). The back windows worked by the switches by the floor at the end of the floor console back by the rear passengers.

Then came my version: (Sept 2000) 4 window switches. ALL 4 light up with the top two lighting up to say "AUTO" because both front windows had auto-express down feature (one touch - windows went all the way down). Bottom two switches only lit up with a small green dash (-).

Then Chrysler got cheap and started to delete many things on the PT including the lights around the inside of the car. You have only the top two lights (-) with one burned out ans QSD pointed out. They also did away with lights on the door buttons and the rear window switches by the floor.

The under seat storage won't work in the second generation. Too many sensors and switches for the airbag system.

Wait.... my manual seats don't go down at all, just fore/aft...... am I missing an adjustment? I don't care that it's automatic, I mostly want it so my wife who is short can reach the pedals better, LOL.

I'm 6' 4" so I love it... much better than the Neon for room.

I'll look for a new switch (Or maybe bulb?) for the window switches... junkyard crawl should get it cheap.

I found the switch panel for a convertable on Ebay for $20ish shipped. Debating if I can dye over the convertible switch and use it... it would be clean looking. Of course, a $3 hidden switch is cheaper and arguably cleaner if it can't be seen at all, LOL.
