Default few questions about my pt

I am trying to find where I can get replacement rock panels and possibly a rear door sill plate. As you can see in my photos I need em.. Also take a look at the clutch fluid and power steering fluid. Do these look normal?

Yes,that looks normal....For any vehicle that has suffered 'long-term' neglect.
All of those problems didn't happen overnight, those are the result of years of not changing fluids, and washing(especially after exposure to road-salt!) & waxing regularly.
It's almost in need of a total 'restoration'.....IMHO.

Respectfully, your PT has rust rot and it's likely much more extensive than just the parts you can easily see. This is not much of an issue down south where I live, but I see this often on cars that come from up north where road salt rules.

Often you can buy a very nice entire PT with a bad engine or tranny for about $500 to a $1000. If your engine and transmission are in good condition, you might want to consider buying a PT with a clean body and then swap your drivetrain.

That sucks. Guess I'll run her till she stops. Pts are not that comon for sale up here so no luck finding a decent used one. I paid 1500 three months ago for her and have done brakes all around. Oil change. Plugs and wires. Tires. Since you guys say it's not worth fixing the rust.

But i still want answers to my questions. Does the clutch fluid need changing? Same as the power steering? Where do I find rockers for it that are not slip on? And FYI the floor and sub frame looks like new underneath

With the rust, filth and crud I see in the pictures, it can't hurt to flush both if you intend on keeping it for awhile. On the rust, as someone said, if you can see it on the outside, it's probably worse on the inside. A salvage yard or dealer seems like the only places to pick up parts unless you check out the For Sale section of the forum and find someone that's parting out a PT and isn't to far away. Shipping parts like that could cost more than they are worth.

Those are the slip on ones. They go over the existing rockers. Which is not what I want. I want the ones that will replace the whole rocker and need to be welded in. Thanks for the replies so far though guys
