Default Removing the chrome PT Cruiser lettering.

On the front doors and boot lid.

What is the best way to do it and does it leave obvious marks?

Cheers all

Fishing line, WD-40, patience, some wax when you are finished.

Thank you!

Will all the residue disappear with no paint work damage?

In most case yes. The key is to be patient when removing them. Oh and wear gloves the fishing line cuts like a razor-blade on the figures!

I de-badged our PT

The PT was really dirty. This was on our resent vacation trip.

Thank you! Looks brilliant!

Your Cruiser is lovely. Did you have the wheels chromed? They look fantastic!

On one side I had to use some polish but now there are no remnants of the old badges. Made room for my series 5 badges

wwpptc, ew55 and njsteve1 like this.

Did that done that. Now I use a heat gun at low setting. Also works great on removing parts attach with the 3M tape.
