Talking Axle Ratio

This is a topic that I just have had a hard time finding in any posts, and that is what the heck is the axle ratio of an automatic PT. I have an '02 Limited and an '05 Touring. I see ratios stating 3.93, 3.45, 2.80, and 2.93, all on different Chrysler sites for PT Cruisers. My cars cruise at 2800 rpms @ 70 mph. Is this pretty normal? Any help on this would be appreciated. I'm assuming that maybe the 3.93 is the ratio before the overdrive kicks in and the other two are after. Could this be correct?

PT Cruiser Final Drive Ratio

It seems to depend on the year. I think these are 2001 numbers:

Manual 3.94
Automatic 3.91
