Default Another overheating issue

Hi all,
I'm having an overheating issue and I've read most of the overheating problems on the forum but haven't been able to find an answer.

Anyway, I have a 2001 PT Cruiser with 64,000 miles on it. The problem I'm having is when I get in the car and drive it, it will always start getting above normal after 6-7 miles. Then when I turn my heater to full heat, temperature will go back to normal. When I get on the highway and hit highway speeds, it still tries to get hot on me , so I have to turn on the blower motor to disipate some of the heat. Temperature always drops back down to normal then. Turning on the AC does not help. Temperature will continue to climb. Fan is working as it should, I'm not losing any antifreeze, no misses, car runs great. Just this overheating issue.

Repairs I've made on the car are:
New thermostat
System flushed
New cooling fan
New temperature control sensor

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help.

the only thing I can think of is there's air in the system. keep bleeding it . seems like it takes forever, but eventually you'll get it.

also, mine had a crack in the thermostat housing which let air in. they're pretty inexpensive.

Either clogged radiator or Bad radiator CAP... also check to see if your leaking at the base where the plastic and metal meet, mounting for the thermostat is.

I've seen several leak and it so hot in that area that it evaporates pretty quickly. Although probably not enough to cause your problem.

Thanks for the response. I'm thinking the radiator myself, but wanted a few other opinions before I order one. I'm open to any suggestions! Only had the car for about four months and am already frustrated with the problems.
