Default Cooling System Problem

Been a while but didn't get any straight answer and still on the brink of ordering a replacement radiator fan before taking it to the shop.....AC has stopped cooling, low speed fan will run the first time I turn on the AC....AC lines starts to get cold then low speed fan will not run in cycle with the compressor.....AC line stops getting cold and will not blow cold air no more.

Since fan works, I don't think it's the fan. Some control signal to the fan seems to be missing.

this is the same reason that's preventing me from buying a new fan & replacing it....I could hear the compressor cyling, engaging & disengaging...it just won't keep the lines & car cool, and the low speed fan from running everytime compressor cycles.

You keep saying the low speed is running then shutting off so I am a little confused. The fan is a two speed fan. Anytime the AC is on the high speed of the fan should run. If you can't hear it running then its a fan issue.

w/c fan should be cycling on & off with the compressor, wasn't it the low speed?

At 110,000 miles the fan is most likely kaput. If its not it will be shortly.
Here is a picture of what happens to the brushes.
Compressor will cut out on high pressure because there isn't enough air flowing through the condensor with out the hi speed fan cooling the condensor.

Will it cool driving down the highway at 60 mph?

Sorry for the late update....PT was surprisingly blowing cold air again lately but not as cold as it used to.....took it to a shop and mechanic found some small leak on the line and was recommending to have the drier replaced as well.....not sure if I would heed his advice though.
