Default A/C i just blowing out air

Good Morning All,

In the past few weeks I have been having some trouble with my 2006 PT. It started with it not turning over eventually we figured that the problem was with the battery. My PT sat in my driveway without a battery connected for about a week, before I was able to afford another one. Once I connected my battery and 2006 PT started right up. But once I started it up I noticed that my A/C was not working properly. It turns on but all it does is blow out air. It is not really hot air but it isn't the cold air that it used to be before I switched out the batteries.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong with it?

I looked at the A/C part in the engine and it seems to be running.

Did you check or have it checked that you have enough R134a in the system?

That is what I was going to check on this week. Just was wondering if it might have been something else!

Lets hope thats all. Does it cool any different when driving down the open road? It's hot weather time, if your around 100,000 miles keep an eye on the temp guage, if it starts passing half way on the guage the cooling fan may need replaced, and don't forget about timing belt maint at 100000.
