Default Something you don't hear enough

Took the wives pt cruiser to the dealer for the ac not blowing cold air.

It was diagnosed as a leaking evap coil. Also through their complimentary inspection found the cam sensor to be leaking and the tie rods needed replacement.

Warranty covered everything, just paid 100 deductible.

4 hours to take the dash apart and 4 to put it back, covered by warranty.

always hear about how bad "stealerships" are

They did great work, cleaned the pt up, and had warm donuts in the lobby

You don't hear it enough because your experience is rare.

The only thing warm for me at the dealer is the heat generated by my Visa

Yea, the dealers can afford to give out warm doughnuts with the amount of over priced up selling going on in the service dept. I worked as a service adviser for a GM dealer for years so I saw first hand how this works.

Great to hear that your warranty covered everything.

This must be under the factory warranty because I have the extended warranty and it does not cover cam sensors.
