If you've gone through 5 MFS, you need to replace that plug.

My #12 interior fuse is fine but replaced it any way. Still no go. It makes me want to take a sledgehammer to the car. *sigh*
THAT will increase resistance and could be why you pop fuses. You need to cut back burned parts of the harness, clean connections and solder in a good connector from a donor car.
