Default PT Cruiser Factory and Dealer-Installed Options

Recently in a different thread, Cruserdad1976 said that he wondered what all the options really were for the PT. And I thought this would be a great idea for a thread. And we should limit this to just items that came on the PT from the factory and those that could be bought from and installed by a Chrysler dealer. This can include everything from major trim level options to dealer-installed flame decals.

Let's get this list going.

Mel will have a lot of responding. He owns a couple original MOPAR PERFORMANCE Chrysler dealer catalogs that shows what performance goodies were available.

The Chrysler Service Parts Catalogs from each year has listings of parts options. It will take someone sometime to sort it all out.

Some of the Factory Service Manuals have a section on optioned serviceable parts which may also takes someone some time to go through each of the FSMs to find them.

Now we have to consider "Dealer-Installed Options". This can actually open the Pandora's box to simple tire/wheel packages to just abut anything a Chrysler dealership wanted to offer. Even as simple as a "HANDYCRUISER" decal?

Regardless this will be an interesting and entertaining thread to follow?

Default Dealer-Installed car alarm option

Dealer installed option
MOPAR VTSS (vehicle theft security system), Chrysler part number 82209707, EVS-1 for vehicles with remote key-less entry (RKE).

A version was also available for vehicles without keyless entry. This EVS-2 included alarm fobs for the alarm. It doesn't provide auto door-locking.
