Default P050B cold start timing

Got a trouble light this morning. P050B cold start timing. Understand supposed to retard the timing until the cat warms up??

I started the car and went inside the house so don't know if any symptoms. Car ran fine when I left with engine light on.

I reset it and when I go out later will see if the light comes back on. The ECM was reflashed about a year or two ago for cold starting issues but never got a P050B before. What should I look for if it returns? As far as I know there is no sensor for this.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the info.

The good news is after resetting, no code last night or this morning at about 17 degrees.

Seems (doing some research) a lot of things (all expensive) can cause this. The one common in all explanations was the ECM (hope not).

Question though, I put in some Lucas oil treatment a couple days ago to see if itwould help in the oil consumption. I go through a quart every 1000 miles. Thought I'd experiment. Can the extra thickness at low temp have caused it??

Thanks!
Mike
