Default Instrument cluster light replacement question

Hi fellow PT owners
I have a 2005 PT Convertible, and my "deck lid ajar" indicator light in instrument cluster appears to be burned out. I have been searching forums and cannot find if this particular light bulb is repairable or changeable. In the owner manual it list bulb as "led" and no replacement reference numbers. DID the self check on the instrument panel and all lights work except the deck lid.

Is this light replaceable?

Thanks for your assistance

1st gen cruisers (2001 - 2005) should be replaceable. check in the "how to" section in tech and performance for instructions.

if I'm not mistaken, the bulb is 74. might as well replace all of the bulbs in the cluster while you're in there.

I don't have a convertible so we'll just have to wait for someone who does to see if they can give you a proper answer.

It can be replaced but you will need a solder pen and some solder.

This photo is the board out of a 1st Gen PT GT cluster. But the NA board looks similar.

Here's a closeup of some of the bulbs:

Thanks Handy Cruiser! Leave it to Chrysler to make a simple bulb change very difficult, complete dismantling of instrument cluster! not sure if the led bulb can be purchased from Chrysler guess best to live with bad bulb for now

Update: I decided to remove deck lid lock to check the if maybe there was a wiring problem with the open trunk switch: it appeared ok and a did a continuity test and the switch was opening and closing normally. I sprayed the switch area with CRC contact cleaner, and Voila!the open trunk light indicator is now working!

It is very uncommon for an LED to die due to age. Most LED bulbs come with a lifetime warranty for this reason. the only reason they would die is if they were overloaded or not properly supplied power and ground to light at all.
