Cool Okay about that mystery leak

After the leak incident, i did look at the coolant in my 01' and it is the green stuff (that should of not been used) My question is if I get the system flushed can I put in the correct coolant or am I stuck with the wrong green stuff because that is what was used and they should not be mixed. Arrrggghhh!
(oh now I get a gurgle when i shut down ignition!)

I personally would just flush it all good and put in the right stuff. Not sure if I'd fully flush the block though. I've heard that can cause water pump issues with weaker bearings. Definitely drain all the green out first tho. Different coolant can have a different ph and cause adverse affects.

Though around here it doesn't matter. Every mechanic shop just throws in green, even if it still has yellow in it.

You will be fine with whatever you have in it as long as it was all one kind. The difference may be the change interval. The type used will tell how soon to replace. Lots of misinformation out there on this. But Chrysler put the pink stuff in engines that don't normally use it in the overseas cars, because that was a engine they were useing in that application.
