Default pt cruisers with 300K miles on them

I just hit 300000 in my pt. I brought it new in April 2005 with 8 miles. no engine or trans problems ever. just basic maintenance and great care. any other pts with high mileage like mine. original engine A/C and trans still in car.

Yes there are some with very high miles. What part of the country you from? Good to have you here. You missed the big hey day of the cruiser. Unless you were there and not on line.

WOW! Welcome to the forum. Contact Chrysler and get your 300,000 Mile Club license plate frame and display it proudly, pretty sure they haven't sent out too many of those

Can't tell you how glad I am to read your post.
I got mine new in '05 also, only at 121,000 + now...

Hey, that's great news! Congrats!

I just bought mine, an '02 PTC LTD, with 153K on it. I'm hoping to drive it 300K and beyond!!!

I wonder if the 2nd gens last this long, I know the powertrain is the same but the interior is a lot cheaper in some spots, I.e: the seats... My 2004 that I bought new, had the water pump go out at 68,000 miles ;( and I was desperate for a car so i got the "free car" on the lot because they had it listed at 4,995 but the sales man wanted it gone ...and I wondered why it was crappy... Lol, the airbag light stayed on from the day I got it to the day I traded it, and I traded it with 230,000 miles, but the motor only had 200,000 miles as it had to be replaced 2 weeks after I got it. But I'm still curious, anyone with over 200,000 miles on their 2nd gens?
