Default Just my luck...

I had some trouble doing a timing belt, water pump, head gasket, etc. So it took me 3 weeks to finish. 200 miles later the bolt holding the timing belt tensioner snapped. When that let go, it messed with the cam timing and took out the timing belt and the plastic housing. I had to take it all apart again. Auto Zone replaced the parts but all that work had to be done again.
Good news is that since I'm now familiar with it, I got it back together and running in a day and a half.
Anybody need a timing belt/water pump job done? I'm getting pretty good at it.

Auto Zone gave me an entirely new complete kit and it had a new bolt. I torqued it down very carefully. Ha.

What was the Autozone complete kit number? We have to make sure others are aware of this.

It was a Dayco water pump kit according to the receipt but on their website, it is called a timing belt component kit.
It included the water pump and gasket, timing belt, tensioner, idler, and even the plastic housings.
The Auto Zone part number is WP265K6A.

I'm located in Mesa Arizona. East Mesa to be exact.
Why do you ask?

Bit too much of a drive for a timing belt...

I was wondering where you were in Arizona, too, in that my '05 (with 88,000 miles) still needs to have the timing belt done, too. It's about a 2 hour drive from where I live to Mesa. Poo!
