Well, after a year plus of owning his 03 GT my son, 30, and daughters, both 39' are taking a road trip this weekend to New Orleans to celebrate the boys thirtieth birthday in the home territory of his NOLA bred Grandpa, my wife's dad.
Here's wishing them a smooth trip, enjoying listening to the Rock and Roll travel cassettes, and the good food and ambiance of The Big Easy. We can't wait to make the trip this summer to Garner State Park near Concan Tx hopefully in all three Cruisers, two Dreams and the GT. Just as hot as NOLA but calm, relaxing and a family tradition since 1979. Hope I'll have my Mullins trailer ready this time. |

We made it ! A wonderful trip here, mostly between 70-80 mph on cruise control.
One tank of gas- 322 miles. 2 stops and rainy skies. I only saw 2 Cruisers on the way here - where is the Louisiana love ? !
