Default New OEM Radiator Cap Design

I spent over $500 today at the dealer for the timing belt and other stuff. I thought it was interesting how the cap they gave me looked different from the original and was rated at 17 PSI instead of 16 PSI. They said the new cap superseded the old one. I checked Mitchell and it said that the cap is supposed to be between 14-18 PSI. I just wonder why they changed the pressure. Maybe they thought the engine bay could use more plastic lol.

Old cap

New cap

Thanks guys. Don't think they make them anymore and it does get hot. Need gloves to take it off.
