Exclamation Can't figure it out? Dead Battery?

Hey is it normal for your battery to go dead after about 5-8 days of not driving it? I don't drive it sometimes for a week and the battery always goes dead.
I have a aftermarket alarm with a blinking led. That's about all that's on constantly when parked.

Here is everything I've already checked and let the car sit for 7 days.
1.Bought a Brand new Battery first (other battery was no good)
3.Tried a new Optimim battery as well.
2.Altanater checked with full load (everything possible full on) Passed test
3.turned off both alarms; factory and after market one when parked.
4.unhooked amplifier ( unhooked power lead)
5.unhooked aftermarket stereo
5.turned off interior light switch and checked for any lights on.

When I unhook the battery when parked for 6 days; it was fine when I hooked it back up and started it. There has to be something drawing power when it's parked. But I checked all of the above can't figure out what drawing power when it sits. Did I miss something? I can't go through every wire in the car. Is there another way with a ohm reader or someway to see if it's drawing power when the battery is hooked up and sitting and all of the above has been done? Is there anything else that draws power when the car is off? Most car batterys will go dead or at least need a boost after 3 weeks to a month in most cars when they sit for that long but that's with nothing unhooked as I have done.
Any suggestions what it could be? I hate boosting it every time it sits that long and I know it can't be good for the battery.
HELP!

Have you tested the fog lights..?? The G1's have a problem with the fog light coming on by themselves or just drawing power. I forget what fuse it is...#8...I'm sure someone who owns a G1 will post soon.

I think they can test for a draw which is what you have maybe nitro can shead some light on this
But I think they have a meeter that when the car is off it will measure how much is being drawn from the battery it may not tell you what is drawing it but at least you know you have something

Shoot Nitro a pm

I would suggest getting an inexpensive voltmeter with a DC Amp Scale. The link below explains how to check to see if you have something draining the battery. Let us know how much current its drawing with the ignition switch off.

We had the same thing happen with a Ford Windstar. It's the alarm. The book does not tell you it, but if you leave it on the led will drain it. Ours had an "alarm" flash on the console, it would die pretty soon. We had to figure it out. It goes out faster if it is cold. Because of this ,we had to start it every day, let it run a few minutes when we were not using it.

Had to replace a battery once because of it, sheeesh.

See if this article helps you pinpoint the drain

Considering what richfield said I would start by disabling the alarm and see what happens. Something is drawing off the batt. I think if you put a test light between the + cable and batt terminal it will glow when something is drawing off it. In modern cars you will have something draw on it so you may get some light. So start with the alarm and continue from there. Also make sure there is no engine or dome light stuck on.
Good luck.

Led's draw so little power you could go for months without draining a battery. Example, have a flash light tha has 10 led lights and runs on 4 D cel battery's. Left I on on accident and went home for the day. Came in the next day 16 hours later and discovered it on still burning.

You might try pulling different fuses until you eliminate the draw. Then you can narrow the search to things run on that Circuit.
