Default noise in front end

going down the highway straight my stering wheel is turned about a inch and a half. It makes a humming noise just going down the road like power stearing noise or a tire. The min I turn the wheel straight the noise leaves but the car starts going to the right. Can anyone tell me what this is. Do you think a cv joint or a outer bearing in the front end.

Please introduce your self and tell us a little about your PTC

Sounds like wheel bearing, you need to have your front end repaired ASAP.
Are you able to do any work yourself?

Yes I am a mechanic. I had the car on the rack and turned the wheels and did not feel anything loose or rough. Could it still be the bearing? If it is the bearings I will order them.

Pulling to the right is something else. Alighment or worn boll joint or tie rod. Bought a stratus with a bad bearing. Sounded like an air raid siren at fifty five. But ran true.
