Default Air Conditioning

I have a 2006 Cruiser Touring Edition. Just a bit ago I went to recharge the air conditioner. Then when I went to fill the car with the coolant a sort spraying noise happen twice from underneath the car, it was kind of loud. I've refilled a few different car in the past but never had this problem before. Has anyone had this happen? If so what was the fix?

What was the reason for recharging the A/C? and how much freon did you put in it?

The a/c was blowing out semi-cool air more so warm, so from my past experiences I figured my cruiser needed freon. Just a one squeeze of the trigger and then the spraying noise. The noise happen twice.

There's a discharge valve on the underside of the compressor. When the compressor is overheated or has too much R134A, the valve opens and the freon is released with a loud hiss and white smoke.

Yes! Bingo. Would that keep my compressor from kicking in?

i would suggest checking your radiator fan. When the engine is cold and you first start it up and turn on the A/C does the radiator fan turn on automatically.

Is this a DIY fix or would I need a repair?
