I recommend NOT painting them silver unless you file the casting flaw out. I sprayed the ones on my mustang silver when I did the brakes and they look like crap. I'll be redoing them in black.

Blue might be a bit "highschool kid-ish". My friend painted some blue and we always teased him about it.

Yep. I miss the red PT. Inferno Red is a great color for a car. I've come to like the more subdued Linen Gold too. But it's harder to pick contrasting colors for custom components. And to get back on subject, I will likely detail out my calipers in "Sun Yellow" as I did with my sway bars. It seems to work well with the color scheme.

Black,RED,Silver or grey for traditional modded and High Performance Calipers, anything else IMHO is for custom show cars or how did Rob say it.....

Such a limited pallet.

You need to visit Sherwin-Williams and widen your tastes.

No just a traditionalist when it comes to some things, like color of brake caliper on cars.

And that I have seen to many Powder Coated calipers from customer that did visit the paint samples at "Sherwin-Williams". I mean LIME GREEN calipers as an example.

I will say form a stand point of things I can do well, a set of "BOMBER ORANGE" calipers for Mike's PT or a set of Pearl Linen Gold calipers on your PT would be "KOOL"!
Busted_PT likes this.
