Default 06 cooling fan how does it work

Right off let me say my car is NOT overheating. The cooling fan runs but not all the time. Want to know how the fan works when A/C is on. I know it should go to high speed but should it stay on with a/c on or will it only come on when called for?

I know it goes through the computer and has it's own module but can't find a good explanation or schematic on the whole circuit. Very frustrating. The reason I ask is the a/c should be colder but before I put in more juice what to know the cooling fan is working right.

Thanks!!

I just found it in my very crummy manual and was just about to post it. Glad I checked because I thought it was on all the time with a/c on. One less thing to fix ya!!

THANKS!!!!!!!

My 07 rarely goes above 204, I monitor it with my ultra gauge

My 2006 seems to kick in around 208 according to my UG, but that was at idle
