I am looking for a late model PT sedan with turbo and manual transmission, what model would this be?

You're looking for a GT, but manual trans is kinds rare in later years.

Correct.
Only manual turbos were GTs.
(the other turbos are all autos).

PT Cruisers came two ways with manual transmissions. There were non-turbo manuals with a Chrysler 5-speed. And there were GT models with a German Getrag 5-speed. As already mentioned, all non-GT turbo PT's came with automatics.

When you ask about a "late model" PT, it becomes more difficult. The first generation PT was made from 2001 to 2005. And the second generation from 2006 to 2010. I believe both GT 5-speeds and non-turbo 5-speeds are rarer in the second generation PT's.

If you will tell us more about what you want a PT for and your goals with the car, we can likely help you with better recommendations. Also, the first generation PT's lend themselves better to many modifications and there are more after market parts available for them.

I want to thank all you guys for your responses. We've had two PT's, a new 2000 sedan and a 2005 convertible we bought used that we still have. There is a 2009 PT nearby that is a non turbo with a 5 speed. It appears to be in great shape and I am reluctant to go check it out and fall in love with it even though it is non turbo. Not sure what I should do. Since 1993 all our cars have had automatic transmissions and I would really like to have a manual this time. Sorry for the rambling.

Well hold out for a 5 speed GT. Sometimes the manual is not always looked at as a positive. So you could luck up and get one. A good friend 767Skyking really loves the difference he feels in his.

This is from the above post. Is this allowed on this site? Seemed to have lots to do with Obamacare and nothing about PT Cruisers. Maybe it's a typo.
