Default Ac compressor won't engage after changing timing belt

Ac compressor won't engage after changing timing belt . Can just the relay and it comes on and works but the fan won't . Anyone had This happen ? What fixed it

I would suggest you check the wiring going to the A/C. Some members have forgotten to put the A/C connector back on or had found it broken off after working on the engine.

Was the radiator fan wire connector disconnected when getting ready to work on the timing belt?

Was the A/C line disconnected when jacking up the engine?

Does the compressor cycle for a few seconds when turning on the A/C?

What year is your PT Cruiser and how many miles?
