Hi!

I thought I'd drop in and check out the "cool" crowd, I miss chatting with the great folks on this forum.

I've had the VW TDI for about a month now and am very pleased with it so far - the fuel economy on this car is just short of incredible!! (850 KLM's on 51 liters of diesel).

Just as I would expect everyone is still "moddin' and troddin'" down in PT land - great stuff, no matter what I'll always have a soft spot for the PT.

All for now, keep on moddin'.....[?][?]

Can't speak for others, but I for one would like you to stop by more often. Glad you like the VW - Which one? New Beetle? Passat? I had 3 VWs - 2 gas, 1 non-turbo diesel - the 2 gas ones ate exhausts, the diesel didn't - another advantage.

With all the money your saving on gas now, are you going to mod the VW?

Thanks Don, it's the Jetta GLS, so far, so good.

Sure enough I've found the mod fever to be a transferable disease and I still have it!!

I've been real good about not rushing into modding the VW to fast, after all this car will be with me for some time so best to let some of the OEM parts fall off before upgrading them. Having said that I did go for some aftermarket filter upgrades that seemed appropriate.

All for now, take care.

Hey hey, how is everyone, fine I hope.

I remember seeing something one time hear about an aftermarket back up lighting system that connects to the trailer hitch assembly. Anyone have the link for that set up? The OEM reverse lights on the Jetta are crapola!

Hard to explain but every time I see a PT on the road these days (especially black GT's) it hurts a little. Oh well, maybe after the Jetta gives it up I'll get another GT. I've gotten up to 950KLM's with 52L of diesel so far. Considering some engine mods to prevent "intake clogging" a problem with TDI's and pollution control.

Keep on Crusen'
