Default My Cruiser has died.

I have a blue 2007 street cruiser (PCH) with 114500 miles. The timing belt snapped and the vehicle no longer runs. I can't afford to replace the engine. I live near Phoenix, and would like to know if there is someone or somewhere I can sell it for parts, or if someone who can repair it would like to buy it from me. The interior is very clean, the body in excellent condition. I had just filled the tank 4 miles before it died. I can provide pictures on request.

Please contact me by email at iwalk360@ymail.com.

Thank you,
Chrystine

Chrystine,

You don't need to replace the engine as less that 1% ever have internal damage when the belt breaks. You just need to find someone that will replace the timing belt and a couple of accessories (water pump and belt tensioner) and you'll be on your way. Ask around and try and get a couple of different estimates on changing the belt.

Here is the best video's on doing the timing belt I have seen. There are seven total so you should watch them all. For me I didn't have the T55 star Allen for my tools but I will be doing both mine and the wife's car in the next couple of weeks.
