Default Engine missing at idle

On my 2008 with only 105k-kms the engine misses at idle or when stopped at the lights. I looked at a few of the spark-plugs and they seem to be ok. It seems the spark-plugs and the wires are original, Considering the car is 8 years old I guess a wire and spark plug change is in order. It does not appear to be missing when driving

Engine missing at an idle can be caused by:

1. Leaking vacuum hoses. I would suggest you first check all the vacuum hoses under the hood. Check all the hoses for cracks and leaking at the fittings.
2. Faulty radiator fan.
3. Defective spark plugs and spark plug wires.
4. Low engine compression.
5. Other possible components determined after further diagnosis with visual inspection and scan tool.

If your engine light is on what engine trouble codes are you getting?

There is no engine light on, I can always plug in my code reader and see if any codes are stored. Also not it does not appear to be missing when driving

You might only have a small vacuum leak. Suggest you check the vacuum hoses first.

Good suggestion I never thought to check for vacuum leaks. I will do that tomorrow. Thanks

What symptoms do you have that you think it's missing at idle?
