Do any of you guys know how to adjust the headlights on the PT? Mine are too low and I need to raise them. I THINK I can figure it out if I just study them, but I'm a pretty lazy person and just hope someone here can explain it to me!

Three things to look at are
are the lens clear-- polishing lens if you cannot see the bulb helps immensely although its a short time fix, polish again and again. Are there the same size tires on the rear of vehicle as front? Adjustment is the vertical rod , I think its a reverse torx, but here in the north they are so rusted you cannot turn them. But if your lucky enough and yours do turn do it one turn at a time, then test.

Thanks to both of you guys. I got the PM, Nitro. But, the reason I THINK they need adjusting is because this car has a salvage title and I do know it took a slight hit to the front end. Reason being is that the radiator support has a slight bow to it and a ding on the bottom and I had to replace the front bumper assembly. It was not in good shape and was pretty obvious that someone had done a half-assed paint job on it too. The color didn't quite match. I'll use my 200 as a guide line for adjustment. I'm going to park it about 25 feet away from my garage door and use some masking tape to mark where the lights on it hit. Then, I'll put the PT in the same spot and see if I can get close. I KNOW they're not the same bulbs as the 200 has much brighter lights, but if I just adjust the PT lights up to close to where the 200's hit, I think it'll be okay. I appreciate the information.

Okay, I found the adjuster screws and managed to get the driver side headlight picked up and adjusted fairly well. The passenger side is being a pain, though. I know the screw is turning, but the headlight isn't moving. And the odd thing is that the headlight shines out better on low beam than on high beam. High beam hits the road about ten feet in front of the car. Is it possible that the bulbs are in the wrong sockets? I've never replaced them, but that doesn't mean a previous owner didn't screw them up.

The headlight adjuster may be stripped from impact if it doesn't move with the adjusting screw.
It is possible that the bulb is not inserted correctly into the housing. It may be evident by comparing the left and right bulbs through the lens. Bulb will be angled slightly down and when removed it will not take much twisting for it to come out.

Thanks, JoeX. Bulbs are fine, so I'm guessing the dang adjuster is stripped or broken on the passenger side. I MIGHT get into it Tuesday or Wednesday. Just not sure I want to tackle it right now.
