I just swapped the coil to fix my cyl 4 misfire. I got a coil from the local pick n pull and after i swapped it i went to start her up and it idled high and uneven. Found out i put the rad hose clip in between the intakes rather than above them. Fixed that now it starts and dies unless i give it gas. It sounds great and doesn't havr the miss now but it won't stay running.. any ideas?

Yes it has the p0304 because i didn't clear it yet but none other than that. Through searching the web and forum I was going to try the idle air control valve and then the throttle position sensor... Would you say that's a good game plan?

I would clear the code first and also reset the battery and see if it comes up again after a few start/warm up and drive cycles. According to the troubleshooting guide for your code, the ignition coil is not the only thing that could have failed. When troubleshooting you have to be 100% sure it's that one item before changing it. POSSIBLE CAUSES Intermittent misfire Visual and physical inspection Ignition wire ASD relay output circuit (coil) Engine mechanical problem Ignition coil Coil control circuit Spark plug Checking fuel pressure Fuel pump inlet strainer plugged Restricted fuel supply line Fuel pump module Checking fuel leak down Fuel injector operation ASD relay output circuit (injector) Fuel injector Injector control circuit PCM (ignition system) PCM

I am suggesting you might have an vacuum leak. Check the vacuum hoses such as the PCV valve to the manifold, throttle body, etc. Check the intake manifold for vacuum leaks.
Reset the DTC's and check to see if any other codes come up.
