Exclamation More issues

Just got a 2008 engine put in my 07 touring edition. Things were going fine for a week or so then the check engine light came on. It came back as a P0700, brought it to autozone and it had 8 other transmission codes. Car run fine, no problems shifting, smooth running at 80mph.

I pulled the battery and cleared the code and the P0700 came back on sat night. This morning I checked the code again with the key and came back all dashes with the light still on.

I'm thinking its a computer issue. Any one else have ideas?

If these are new and not a carry over. I would be checking connections that were distributed by the engine swap. Grounds big connection on the transmission. There is a box the connects to the transmission to. Just really go over and look at anything that has been disconnected. Disconnecting the battery does not clear the codes. It only turns off the light on the dash. They are still stored in there. If it's a intermittent issue I will come back on again. If not it will clear out of memory after a few drive cycles.

The car had no codes before the engine swap just the bad thrust bearing. Ill poke around under the car tomorrow and check the TCM connections.

How many miles have you driven it since the new motor was put in it?

That kinda tells me the problem is part of the change out. Low voltage sounds like a good reason you have so many other codes with that one. may have your battery load tested for grins and gigles.

The battery is new as of September and got it tested last week. IT appears to be good
