Default Crank no start situation

Hi all. 2001 Pt touring 5spd with 109k on the odo. Went out to go to work the other day and it wouldn't start.. Figured I'm out of gas so I put 2 gallons in. Visually checked fuel pressure at valve and seemed week so I checked fuse was good so I replaced the pump. Now the pressure is visually greater than before. I am:

-Getting fuel
- Getting spark(so crank sensor is ok)
-Cam is turning upon pulling can sensor(so timings belt is ok)
-relays and fuses are all good

What in the world can it be? Autozone suggested a compression test but it ran like a champ earlier that morning so it shouldn't be internal like that.. I'm stumped. Any and all help is much appreciated guys and gals

Is the engine service light on?

Did you try getting the codes from the car?

Try to start it with the cam sensor disconnected?

Are you going to wait until the belt breaks to replace it?

Try a little starting fluid in the throttle body and see if it hits.

I was only getting a 1684 code.. tried disconnecting the cam sensor and it started and died and when it died the rpm gauge jumped up like a thousand or two thousand rpm.. Replaced cam sensor with new one and still nothing.. How do I check the magnet pickup for the cam sensor?

I would suggest you check the wire harness coming from the crankshaft sensor. The 2001 & 2002 are popular for the wire harness to drop down on the half shaft or frame and start rubbing through the wire harness shorting out wires.
