Default New PCM / p2305

Thursday the 04 Limited Turbo 2.4L threw code p2305 and I'm really stumped. I have replaced plugs, wires, ignition coil and still runs rough(vibration at idle and almost zero power when pressing the pedal) and still has the same code. Today I tested the wires from the pcm(fairly new pcm) that go to the coil with a light probe. The wire that corresponds with cylinders 1 & 4 was working well with a blinking light while the engine was running. The wire that corresponds with cylinders 2 & 3 did not blink while running! Checked for a short on that wire to the pcm and id not find a short!!! Really hoping this is not my pcm seeing that i just dumped $800 on a new one just over a year ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any chance that there could be a shorted wire to the Crank Sensor or Cam Sensor without throwing a code?

I would think that any wiring connection to cam or crank would affect all cylinders.

P2305 - Ignition Coil No. 2 Secondary Circuit Insufficient Ionization Conditions:

If PCM detects that the secondary ignition burn time is incorrect or not present an error is detected.

Possible Causes:

1. Intermittent condition Cylinder No. 2 spark plug or wire is damaged or it has failed
2. Ignition Coil No. 2 is damaged or it has failed
3. Ignition coil control circuit is open or shorted to ground
4. ASD relay output circuit problems
5. PCM has failed

One of our members indicated after replacing the crankshaft sensor that it fixed the P2305 code.

Thanks for the help but after further checks I have figured out that it is the computer. Good news is that I found out it is still under warranty! If this fixed it I will make another post to confirm!
