Hi,
My girl friend has a 2006 PT Cruiser and her PCM is going bad. The original PCM in her car have the part number 5034440AE. I found a used part number 5187761AA from a 2008 model. They look the same externally and I cannot see any difference between the 2006 model and the 2008 model in the service manual. I have access to the Witech tool, so transfering the VIN will not be a problem. Do you know if the 5187761AA will work on the 2006 PT Cruiser? |

If you find A PCM from a wrecked 2006, you will need the PCM, key FOB, key cylinder and skim module. It should start without programming and the key FOB should work. You will need to re-key the doors for the new key and change the VIN.
