Well, I got the car back yesterday. They told me they had to "reposition a hose clamp." Unfortunately, the cashier only had that info as the service techs were all gone for the day. So now I will just have to make sure I keep checking it periodically to make sure it isn't leaking fluid anymore. Anyhow, thanks for all the help.

Everyone,
I just got off the phone with DC and they are *finally* ready to implement this very important recall! The NHTSA web site also confirms this (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 04V268000). I called my local DC dealership to inquire and set up an appointment and they didn't even know what I was talking about. After arguing with them for a few minutes, he found the documentation confirming what I told him. I encourage all of you that have Cruisers that are impacted by this recall to contact your local dealerships about it. Before you take your Cruisers, have them verify that all of the parts necessary are in stock so you won't have to come back a second time. |
