Default Adding a CHRYSLER emblem to my '06

Handy inspired me to go ahead and try adding a CHRYSLER emblem to my '06:

Here is a 'photo-shopped' picture. What do you think? The letters are off of a '98 Chrysler Cirrus.

To me it looks too modern to be on the PT, I would go for a scroll or script CHRYSLER.

I kind of agree, although the Cruiser is a retro-style, just not retro to the '90s. I doubt I could find a script that doesn't cost an arm and a leg though.... I am thinking that the letters I got do look better on a Gen II than a Gen I.

This style emblem might look good on a PT:

It's off the 70's Cordoba's and it's about the right size, 4-1/2" x 2-1/4" which when placed on the right side of the rear hatch, would about equal the size of the LIMITED EDITION badge that is on the left side, so that would be balanced.

wingman55, check out the step by step instructions I added too the thread I started the other day "Personalizing your PT". It'll probably widen your horizon for finding the chrome lettering you need reasonably.

I would agree. The lettering is too long in length, and not retro enough.. (in my opinion)

Here's a nice one:

1975 76 77 78 79 "Chrysler" Cordoba Script Deck Lid Emblem Used 3811390 | eBay

And just search "Chrysler script" in eBay for a bunch more.

I saw that one, but it looked a little rough. I'd like to find a NOS one, there are plenty of the Cordoba emblems NOS on Ebay, but none of the Chrysler, and very few used ones, but I'll keep looking as I think it would look great on my PT.
