Default Removing a Dodge Magnum rear wiper.

I saw a old post where Handy added a Dodge Magnum rear wiper to his Cruiser and it looks cool.

Well I finally found one at the yard today. (they are usually always gone by the time I see a Magnum) Anyway, I could NOT get the darned thing off!!

Is there some special technique? I already started damaging it, and wanted to stop before I completely ruined it.:

You need a wiper arm puller. Basically, like a gear puller but only has two arms instead of three. Google wiper arm puller and you will see many types.

While at the salvage yard, just find a piece of pipe or wood and press it up under the wipe arm where it fits tight near the stem, then push the wiper arm down gently rocking it softly side to side. If the arm is hinged, pull the arm straight out from the car and rock side to side. This creates a lever and fulcrum effect. In many cases, the wiper will just pop off.

However, from the photo shown, that one looks to be pretty corroded and the plastic looks extra crispy. That's good for fried chicken but terrible for wiper arms.

You might look at the cost of a new one on eBay or Amazon. I don't think they cost too much. Looks like around $13 with free shipping. May not be as good as OEM. But hey, it's new with a new wiper blade.

Yeah, I tried prying up on it with Channel lock pliers under it and using a screwdriver as a fulcrum. I also whaled on Channel locks pretty good and it didn't budge. I then tried two screwdriver blades and that started to crush it. I may just abandon it. It's not worth all the hassle.
