I'm curious... correct me if I'm wrong, because I would prefer to have the right information...

Regarding the evaporative canister, isn't this what puts pressurized ventilation from the tank back into the intake system? It's my understanding that the tank pulls in (but doesn't ventilate out) from the tank fill neck, and ventilates out (but does not pull in) through the canister. Is this wrong? It makes sense that this is the only way to have a "sealed" system, but I could be wrong...?

Did they show you the old fuel pump?

Was this the first time refilling the tank since the fuel pump had been replaced?
I have no idea what brand of pump they used.
I did not see the old pump and wouldn't know what to look for anyway.
The tank had been filled approximately twice a week since the pump was replaced. My wife has a long commute to and from work.
We should know what is to be done Monday.
