Default Getting a bad engine knock

It sounds a lot like textbook flexplate problem but it almost seems like it's coming from the motor.
2003 PT GT Turbo aoto stick, it runs great. there's no lights on, problem just began
hoping to look here before I leap... just a little frustrated so I'll ask any thoughts?

It does until you put it in gear then the sound fades off

Get under it, take the inspection plate off and check those torque converter bolts.

So far I found loose bolts between the flexplate and a converter. I am headed out for Loctite

Make sure you get the type that you can still remove the bolts. I THINK it's the blue. You use the red and ever have to take it apart, you'll run into some issues!
