Default Fuel Tank Mount Issue

So long story short, I was replacing the fuel tank and when I was putting the bolt back in on one of the mounting straps, the (what I assume is a) welded nut in the frame, snapped off. Now I have a 1/2 threaded bolt holding the tank up on one side.

What's the best way to access this? I'm assuming I will need to rip up the carpet from inside?

Welcome to the forum.

It would be good to take pictures of the issue so someone here might have some ideas.

Thanks, and here's a photo of the bolt and mounting strap, though I'm guessing anyone who might be able to help access the other side would know what it is already
