Hi
Just joined the crew! Have a 2002 Patriot Blue 2.0L Limited manual with MGW door pins, Mopar Chrome filler flap, chrome gear knob, chrome rear light covers, K&N filter & lots of polish! Going to be in Orlando at end of the month for 2 weeks & am hoping to rent a Cruiser convertible. Please have a look at my site & spread the word if you know any teachers - www.allscottishteachers.co.uk [8D]

Welcome. Are you on www.ukcruisers.net? Don't see you there.
Going to Disney World? Enjoy. Hope they have a Cruiser convertible for you - perhaps you should reserve it ahead - different rental companies tend to feature certain cars - Ford, for example.
In any case, ENJOY, and welcome.

Thrifty has PT Cruisers, and Sebring convertibles, not sure about PT convertibles.... http://www.thrifty.com

In the US/Canada it's 2.4 - in Europe, Australia it's a 2.0L gas or 2.2L diesel.

Here's from a British magazine:
"The CRD may offer only 119bhp, but it wipes the floor with the other model as far as torque is concerned. And it's not just the amount of torque, but how low down the range it comes - 221lb/ft from 1600rpm."

CRD stands for "common rail Diesel" - and it's made by Mercedes, who has LOTS of diesel experience.
I think they're offering it in the Jeep Liberty, but not in the PT here - unless gas prices stay where they are......
